Our work

Care, land and community — growing together.

Children’s safety and belonging lead our work. Alongside care today, we are developing opportunities for the future with community partners.

Current work

Safe Home

A safe, caring home for vulnerable children. To protect the children, we do not share its location or their identities.

Current work

Social work & family outreach

Visiting and supporting families, so that children can be cared for within family and community wherever possible.

Current work

Learning & daily care

Everyday rhythms of meals, schoolwork, play and rest — the ordinary things that help children thrive.

02

Land & future opportunities

Current work

Growing crops & poultry

Current farming work includes growing crops and poultry, in close collaboration with the distinct Mudzi wa Moyo initiative.

Developing

Irrigation development

Ongoing development towards more reliable water for growing. This is work in progress, not a completed system.

Developing

Regenerative farming

A long-term vision for healthy soil, water stewardship and dependable harvests that could contribute to nutrition and income supporting care. Homes are not claimed to be self-financing.

Developing

Future skills opportunities

Mudzi wa Moyo's vision includes vocational learning and community development. Future opportunities must be age-appropriate; children never have to work or farm to earn their care.
